Technology integration models like SAMR and TPACK are useful in evaluating technology integration however fall short in terms of providing a proactive and forward-looking frameworks that teachers and administrators can use to develop every day learning practices and goals.  Meaningful technology integration requires response to needs and careful alignment with broader goals of teaching and learning. This workshop will introduce the 4 Shifts Model for technology integration which contextualises the process, linking it to key IB education outcomes including developing higher level thinking skills, producing authentic work, developing student agency & opportunities for personlization and technology infusion focusing on technology as a means to an (important) end- learning!
